There are a lot of stories on A Suitable Boy. I enjoyed the first episode 1 aired last night. Colorful, dialogue simple, beautiful on the eye.

The stories are about a dedicated literature student Lata Mehra has high hope in her future. Her mother Rupa was busy arranging and co-ordinating the marriage of her eldest daughter Savita to Pran Kapoor, who was a university lecturer.
Rupa has her prioritized her spirited younger daughter, but Lata being a fighter wants to make her way in the world her way. She isn’t interested in romance.
But her resolve is challenged when she starts to fall for a mysterious fellow student, Kabir Durrani.
